Revolution

Hey, this doesn’t seem totally unwatchable:

Redlich describes the project, from CBS Paramount Network Television, as "re-envisioning the American Revolution 200 years in the future."

"Revolution" is set in New America, a distant colony on an Earth-like planet struggling for its independence from an increasingly hostile homeland, the United State.

setting something from american history in the future sounds like it has cheesey written alllll over it. we’ll see.

i too like revolutionary war stuff. like the john adams biography (and forthcoming miniseries based on it). and the musical “1776.” because i’m wicked gay.

Hey, I also really liked The Crossing with Jeff Daniels. And I like Sci-Fi. This is my genre!

Yeah, I recognize there’s obvious potential problems here… but let me glory in the possibilities for a little while? At least until it becomes inescapably obvious that it’s going to be terrible.
