Google Reader’s “Trends” provides more information about my RSS reading habits than I want to have:
From your 80 subscriptions, over the last 30 days you read 6,358 items, starred 51 items, shared 0 items, and emailed 5 items.
That’s too many.

My wii told me I played guitar hero for 4:49 two nights ago. Also too much. Especially for someone who can only finish one song on Hard.

question about guitar hero: does knowledge of actual guitar-playing have any effect (positive or negative) on one’s gameplaying ability?

Yeah, but how many of those were ones that you didn’t read but clicked “Mark As Read?”
Also, did you know that your blog’s RSS feed seems to be pointing to feedburner, rather than your blog?

I actually tend to just scroll through them very quickly rather than “mark as read” (but of course I do it occasionally). I try to avoid having so many feeds that I can’t quickly skim them. Things are constantly being culled, both the Washington Post and Scott Adams’s feeds recently got removed for only providing partial feeds. They were just slowing me down. Sad times.
I’m under the impression that the feedburner thing doesn’t interrupt the functioning of the feed itself and is only there to provide me with (admittedly pointless) statistics. Let me know if it’s actually interfering with the feed in any way.

Geez, I’m trying to reign mine in.

JBG: A NYT article I read suggested that actual guitar-playing is a different skill from Guitar Hero. I’m too lazy to dig it up. It also said that Slash from Guns N Roses claims to be bad at Guitar Hero.

I haven’t actually read the story, but I like finding things:
