Barack Obama, Anti-Christ?

I’m not the first one to say it, but after recently reading the beginning of the Left Behind series and the entire Christ Clone trilogy, it’s not totally wacky to compare Obama’s rise and public adulation to that of the predicted Anti-Christ’s (at least as described in those books).

Please, keep up your website. It’s quite interesting, but on the margin of your website there are some doubtful organisations who are speaking out false things about the end times…..the real stuff is only written in the Bible and it needs wisdom from the Holy Ghost to be able to translate it into today’s language. Not all of those self-called prophets ect. are really annointed by God, but also by money or by themselves.

And one thing is for sure: The Antichrist comes in his own name, Jesus the Messiah did not come in his own name. The people of Israel will accept the Antichrist, as predicted, but did not accept Jesus….so if you see how Obama is touring Israel and how the Jews worldwide are approaching O. and his views and putting all their hopes in him, this is really shocking and showing a lot of where people are getting their hopes and beliefs from….not from God definitely, but from a weak human being..

I do not follow the president race, I never have. I am, however, a Christian. I was flipping through the channels on my tv, when I came across one of the debates of Ms. Clinton and Mr Obama. For some strange reason, I started to listen. I had been listening for maybe 5 minutes, when the most horrible feeling came across me. At the time I really couldn’t put a finger on why I was feeling this way. After a few minutes more I understood what the problem was. I believe Mr. Obama is the anti-christ. I know people will think I am a complete nut, for thinking this. I dicided to get on the computer and find out all I could about Mr. Obama. That is when I saw the others who believe like I do. I hate to say anything negitive about a person. I have always been taught there is good in all people, and I have always lived my life in looking for that good. No matter how much I try to find good in Mr. Obama, I can’t shake the feeling that he is something really bad. It scares me more then words can express to know what I believe this man is capiable of. I have prayed about this many hours since I have thought this horrible thought. After many hours of prayers, I believe that if Mr. Obama is the antichrist, there is really nothing anyone can do about this. As a Christian, I believe this is God’s plan for the world, as He states in Revelatons. I do pray for all the lost souls who will follow this man into the pits of hell. I pray that the Lord will open there eyes to see the deception in Mr. Obama. More then anything, if Mr. Obama isn’t the antichrist, then Lord please forgive me for falsly accusing my fellow man of this.

i believe the idea behind being liberal IS to let everyone live freely…

read the bible, it does not list specific attributes that the anitchrist will have such as age or religion and whatnot.

freedom of expression-if obama doesn’t want to wear an american flag, then he doesn’t have to. it’s his RIGHT!!! i know people who don’t salute the flag or say the pledge for religious reasons. it’s the same either way.

freedom of religion-who cares if obama is muslim, jewish, agnostic, wiccan or any other religion. while the founding fathers may have founded this country based on christian principles, they also came here to escape religious persecution and hoped to prevent persecution for future generations. the fact is that he is not muslim but it wouldn’t matter if he was.

jesus taught people not to judge. he taught them to love and show compassion for other people. obvioulsy some “christians” don’t fallow jesus’ teachings as much as they think they do. take a step back, think things through. saying hateful things doesn’t make the world we live in any better.

and also, you can’t run with and serve a president that you didn’t agree with. so, i will NOT be voting for cheney.

I am not much for candidates’ promises as it rarely seems to be what actually takes place after one is elected however, the leader of our great nation should at the very least know there are 50 states. I am not very happy about our choices in this Presidential election but I would vote for “Bullwinkle or Rocky” before I vote for Obama. This is exactly WHY he should not be President of the US. Come on, 57 states. Now even I am smart enough to realize this probably was taken out of context and he may have been referencing how many states total he has been to….but….the bottom line is…he grew up in Indonesia!!!! Read his books. Read what he wrote in his own words. All the little things that American children are taught (were taught) in school, he cannot understand, because while we were learning the “Pledge of Allegiance”, he was reading the Koran, by his own words in his book!

Obama’a Book - Dreams of My Father

Koran class: In his autobiography, Dreams of My Father, Obama relates how he got into trouble for making faces during Koranic studies, thereby revealing he was a Muslim, for Indonesian students in his day attended religious classes according to their faith. Indeed, Obama still retains knowledge from that class: Nicholas D. Kristof of the New York Times, reports that Obama “recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them [to Kristof] with a first-rate accent.”

Mosque attendance: Obama’s half-sister recalled that the family attended the mosque “for big communal events.” Watson learned from childhood friends that “Obama sometimes went to Friday prayers at the local mosque.” Barker found that “Obama occasionally followed his stepfather to the mosque for Friday prayers.” One Indonesia friend, Zulfin Adi, states that Obama “was Muslim. He went to the mosque. I remember him wearing a sarong” (a garment associated with Muslims).

Piety: Obama himself says that while living in Indonesia, a Muslim country, he “didn’t practice [Islam],” implicitly acknowledging a Muslim identity. Indonesians differ in their memories of him. One, Rony Amir, describes Obama as “previously quite religious in Islam.”

Obama’s having been born and raised a Muslim and having left the faith to become a Christian make him neither more nor less qualified to become president of the United States. But if he was born and raised a Muslim and is now hiding that fact, this points to a major deceit, a fundamental misrepresentation about himself that has profound implications about his character and his suitability as president.

Major Deceit, who is the Master of Deceit and Lies……..His Father??????
When I say his father…..I am obviously referring to Satan!

Well, he was obiviously born here. Otherwise he couldn’t run in the first place. So he grew up somewhere else. Big deal. All the more reason that he’d make a better president; he understands that some places just run differently than America.

I’m sure there are Muslims in this country who read the Koran and say the Pledge. The two don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Would it be better if you found out he learned from the Bible? The answer is probably yes for you, but for me, it’s wrong either way. Koran, Bible, it’s all fiction. And basing the future of a country on religious fairy-tales is NOT the way to go.

Also, check and see where America stands in schooling, aside from college rankings. I’m pretty sure we’ve got the lowest standings of any first world country on the planet.

In addition you may want to check out Rev. Wright’s sermons. Obama was a member of the Trinity Church for something like 20 years and Obama called Rev. Wright his spiritual advisor in the beginning of his Presidential campaign. Now that Rev. Wright’s interviews with press and his videotaped sermons have become more public, Obama decided to quit the church which is obviously due to bad publicity and hurting his campaign.
In one sermone Rev. Wright says….”God damn America”.
I do not make these comments in reference to “religion” but rather to hopefully encourage people like yourself to research and see first hand what kind of person you may be voting for. Check out and watch tons of videos of Obama speaking as well as the church he belonged to for many many years until recently. Read about how he backed his cousin in Kenya to take over and make it a place where one can no longer choose his/her religion. Make an informed decision…be sure you watch videos where Obama himself speaks and not the ones that individuals have made up. You need to get the absolute truth.
The more you see and hear from Obama’s own mouth and watch over the past year how many ideals he has changed the more you may see that he IS a politician but with some kind of “hold” on people that just they can’t see the “forest through the trees”. He is charismatic but seems to say what people want to hear, then changing it when the polls show a drop.
This will be a VERY important election for ALL Americans (black, white, hispanic, indian)….basically all who are human.

You mean to tell me you haven’t looked at the injustices of this government the last eight years, haven’t looked at the poverty, the middle class struggling to STAY a middle class without falling into aformentioned poverty, the few rich people getting far more rich, and all the other problems around us… and you’ve never even THOUGHT “Damn America”? Doubt it. I know I have.

Patriotism is a process, a want to constantly improve one’s country, not just blindly professing love, saluting as it sinks like the Titanic. The current administration caused this decline. Obama is the man to fix it.

I have, but I don’t see where your going with it.

TF: How about the fact that the mosques have Obama for President on them?

OH TEH NOEZ MUSLUMZ IS LIKIN OBAMA!!! Calm down. They kinda have a vested interest in how this election ends up. When a country like the U.S. invades another country and stays there for almost a full two terms of the president that decided to invade said country, they’d want the guy that would get the troops out. Obama’s that guy.

TF: How about the fact that the bible says Christians will be persecuted in the end times by having their heads cut off???

…Kinda tells you something about the Bible, eh, chief?

I’m not even gonna take a swing at this softball.

TF: What is so great about this guy? Are white people so guilt ridden by what black people tell them they are going to vote for him just to prove they are not racist?? PATHETIC!

Well, I’ve heard this more than once, living in a small, and mostly white, town. And it still doesn’t fail to disappoint me. Ever think that there are some people that, you know, vote based purely on what the candidates have been talking about? The economy? Foriegn policy? The housing situation? Any of these ringing a bell? Obama’s running a better campaign right now. End of story. Don’t lump in every white person that votes for Obama as someone trying to prove they’re not racist. Because, you know… that would be something we like to call… a stereotype. Kinda like the thing your trying to complain about. ;)

TF: Thats another thing… howcome its ok for black people to stereotype all white people saying they are all racist and all had something to do with slavery… ? Did Lincoln fight all the evil white people by himself?

It’s not ok for those that do stereotype to do so. At all. But it happens. Human nature. Deal with it, move on, it’s all gonna be ok.

TF: My grandmother was a spy in Germany for America helping them take down Hitler.. why should I feel guilty about my skin color!? OH YEAH IM NOT!

    1. Who’s “them”?
    2. No one’s asking you to feel guilty about anything.
    3. This has nothing to do with anything your post is supposed to be about AT ALL.

TF: I am sick of racism against white skin! Kiss my pale butt you entitlement LOSERS!

Sometimes the things you say hurt my brain. If by entitlement, you mean repairations, (and who knows if you do, I’m having enough trouble following this inane rant) my usual response to someone who’s actually being serious about it is that I’d pay repairations to someone as soon as England paid me repairations for the times they enslaved the Irish.

TF: Why dont these drug dealers living in the hood buy themselves an RV instead of Cadillac Escalade and move out of the hood?? Ever heard of birth control?

Ohhhhkay. First of all, drug dealers and birth control have zero in common.

Secondly, drug dealers wouldn’t move out of the hood because the majority of the drugs they sell are sold to people in the hood. Business 101: Location, location, location.

TF: SO many ignorant, manipulated, naive, PATHETIC MORONS in this country!

This I can get behind. There are many of these kind people in this country. It just so happens I’m writing a reply to one of them right n… oh, sorry.

TF: Protect America SUPPORT THE NRA!! & DONT VOTE DEMOCRAT WHATEVER YOU DO! They are the greedy, they want to justify everyones sins and make us all pay to ensure they can continue to sin, instead of just letting people live freely.. GO TO HELL LIBERALS

People who are “sinning” are living freely, and you have no right to stop them. As for Democrats being greedy, I’m pretty sure they are the ones who start helpful inititives for the poor, destitute, uneducated folks in this country who need a hand, as apposed to the unregulated money managment systems and big corporations of Republicans.

TF: Pelosi you better stay far away from me lady! You and the Obama’s are at the top of my SH%T list!

And to top it off, a threat of violence? Geeze Louise. You’ve got issues, man.

Now that I’ve thoroughly speared your argument, I must return to other parts of the interwebs. There might be more of your sort lurking about.

I fail to see what having faith in the popular God of this country has to do with any of the socioeconomic and foreign policy issues we face.

(And if we’re going to nit-pick, hell, I don’t believe in any God, but at least I know that Iraq and Pakistan don’t border each other. Why would McCain say that? If we are going to look at a man and judge him because of his race and the religion he was supposedly raised under, then the last 30 years of fighting for equality of man have been in vain. Any Christian – in my book – would not use these prejudices to measure the man. They would rather ‘judge’ the strength of his character as determined by the deeds he has done.

People that have to work long hours, dont always have the time or emotional strength to stay involved in the “politicing” so they choose to support those that they feel understands what needs to be protected most.

I would interject to say that many “liberals” are more moderate and often quite “libertarian” in their view of what to do in a world of self-interest. Having been born into a secular nation founded upon principles that are commonly espoused by most religions, I cannot force my religious views on anyone; and NEITHER DID Jesus—Who served all mankind by obeying His Father in Heaven—even unto His death and was thus given Resurrection to Eternal Life as Lord and Savior of ALL.

Herein lies the error of both the LOONEY LEFT and the SELF-RIGHTEOUS RIGHT—as they pursue an agenda of repaying their wealthy contributors by granting tax advantages to various “think tanks” that dovetail recommendations in national and foreign affairs. Now, with the war on terror having us all looking under our beds and in our closets for any evidence of wrong-doing, we have become our own worst enemy.

But this all began when (and actually long before) we bombed Japan—becoming the first and only nation to use a nuclear device in anger—though some may feel remorse over the course of history. Since then we have taken a “leadership” role in foreign affairs that has ultimately turned the common people of other lands against US! Imagine that!!

We are merely about to reap that which we have sown in our desire to own the title of:

    THE GREATEST NATION ON EARTH!!!

It is bound to be a BUMPER CROP of pain and suffering.

We the people have been very poorly served indeed by both the “left it somewhere—out there” and the “might makes right (for the uptight)”. But “uprightly and uptightly”, we stand by our convictions in spite of the loss of a measure of sanity in a world of vanity.

Get ready to feel the kind of pain you may wish upon others in vain because:

I don’t think the notion of Barak Obama as the anti-Christ is out of the realm of possibility. The times seem ripe for such a person to enter the stage of history and be accepted as a long-awaited “messiah” who will bring solutions to the problems of the world. The anti-Christ will be someone that is charismatic and his message will be persuasive, as he will deceive through half truths. However, the big question remains” Will the anti-Christ know that he is the anti-Christ? We know that he will be a human being used by demonic forces to deceive society into a Christianity devoid of supernatural realities, and offer a “Christianity” separated from the cross and the divine person of Jesus Christ. We already see this happening in the hyper-secularization of society that has engulfed Europe and now taking a stronghold in America. For all of you expecting the anti-Christ, it will be someone you least expect. Many expected the Christ to be a great military and political figure, instead he was the humble carpenter living amongst the people. Likewise, the anti-Christ will be someone with a family, someone that we see on television being interviewed, someone with charisma, likability and most of all, will seem to have solutions to all the problems facing the world.

For the ding-a-lings who think God and the existence of angels and demons is an absurd notion, think again. This world is far more incredible than you could possibly imagine. The naive self-proclaimed “intellectuals” who have swallowed the lie of atheism line-hook-and-sinker, will be among the first to proclaim the anti-Christ as the secular messiah that will further guide them along the path of self-destruction.

Could Barak Obama be the anti-Christ?

Judging by his fanatical stance on abortion, and his opposition to the Born Alive Infant Protection Act (which amounts to infanticide), this would certainly be in line with the mind of an anti-Christ. The Born Alive Infant Protection Act was spearheaded by a nurse who witnessed a victim of a would-be abortion actually come out of his mother’s womb alive. The doctors instructed everyone to leave the child to die.

The nurse who witnessed the incident stated: “Obama articulately worried that legislation protecting live aborted babies might infringe on women’s rights or abortionists’ rights. Obama’s clinical discourse, his lack of mercy, shocked me. I was naive back then. Obama voted against the measure, twice. It ultimately failed.”

So atheists are the naive ones? Why, because we require evidence to believe in something? Yes, of course our earth and universe are incredibly complex, but to take something that you don’t understand and make a claims about it with no evidence is delusional. Remember we are still in the early stages of intellectual and technological growth. Our species is sill incredibly primitive. The evidence of that cannot be denied. People will continue to pray to the Jesus, Allah, or Buddha or whatever just as they prayed to countless other gods before them. Had you been born in ancient Greece you would be as steadfast about your belief in Apollo, Athena and Ares. What a wonderful coincidence that you happen to believe in the god that happens to be the dominant god in this particular time and place. What are the odds?
You believe in demons and angels correct? Do you also believe in leprechauns and unicorns? How about goblins? There is the same amount of evidence supporting all of the above. none.

Obama SUPPORTED a law in 2004 that would do much the same thing as the Born-Alive Infact Act, require medical care when an abortion results in a live birth. The difference was that the law did not contain language defining a fetus from conception on as a person, which would have had the affect of making all abortion illegal.

He supported the medical care for live infants. He just didn’t support the back-door attempt to ban all abortions that was also included in the bill.

Suh-weet Jesus! The blind faith, lack of logic or cognitive thought process and complete lack of knowledge about history that you ‘believers’ and ‘Christians’ exhibit!

Right, no one knew what Hitler was doing…if he’d only written a manifesto about it first, as a clue…hey, he could have called it something like ‘Mein Kampf’! Maybe he could have written something like “All who are not of good race in this world are chaff.” to let us know he was a racist. Oh, wait, he did. But everyone was so stupid and so scared and so mired in prophesy and spirituality that they didn’t read it and, instead, justified their actions and followed an nut into war. Hard to believe that could happen, but then it happened again in 2001.

And for the Christians out there…there’s a book you should read and take to heart. It has great quotes in it like…”Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment that you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, “Let me take the speck out of your eye,” when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” Words to live by, don’t you think?

As for those indications…food crisis, recession, etc…that the ‘end is soon’…maybe they’re just indications you shouldn’t have voted for Bush.

I love that you guys are looking for evil when we’ve already been governed by it for the last 7 years. Do you stand in a pile of manure wondering what smells and then blame it on the next person to come along or do you blame it on herd that just left? Yeah, I know. [Reply to just this comment]

    Walrus or Eggman? Reply:

First of all, Kathy said he was FROM the Middle East, which he is not. We were not discussing “roots or ties”. Second, it is not from the “liberal media” (good to know you have no bias), but from every website that I have visited when I googled ‘Barack Obama’ to check for myself, that my information comes. That, Henro, is how I get my information….by research of multiple sources. Jumping to conclusions never benefits anyone, including yourself.

If we are arguing descent from the first man…well, no one knows for sure EXACTLY where the first man appeared. Judeo-Christians believe in the Garden of Eden, which most place by the Tigris/Euprates basin. That would make the origin Babylonian (modern Iraq) or Turkish (the headwaters of the Tigris and Euphrates originate there) or Sumerian (Eden is believed by some to be ‘Edin’) and that would put it closer to or in Bahrain (or possibly Iran if you go with the ‘west of the rivers’ theory), so your Kenyan argument would be off by quite a few miles and countries and would give us all Middle Eastern “ties and roots”. The only postulated African origin of which I am aware is Ethiopia, which is north of Kenya, but certainly closer than all the other possibilities.

If we are arguing evolution, then you’d have to tell me how far back on the evolutionary ladder you’d like to go. First ape? First micro-organism? First meteor strike? Big Bang?

Now, pray tell, besides visiting Pakistan, etc, what are these Middle Eastern “roots and ties” of which you speak?

As Christians we have joy, hope and love withing our hearts and as true Christians we are looking out for the second coming of Christ, which will be soon. Jesus gave us clear signs to be here before He would return. But as long as He has’nt come yet, we should just do our proper work in daily routine and deal with our gifts as good as it would be possible.
If I would be American, for sure, I would not vote for Obama, but for McCain. However I do not know, whether McCain would be the better president, but sure he would be the more honest friend of Israel. He most probably would be one of the true friends of Israel. Obama is it not, just pretending. How then could he ask for a Palestinian State besides Israel? This proofs that he’s not willing to accept the truth about Israel and Palestine, that J o r d a n is Palestine!!! Too long we’ve been brainwashed with this BS of a palestinian State which had to be errected so that peace could prevail in the Middle East. There was never a palestinian people nor a palestinian state, but a Jewish people and a Jewish state, which has got a right to be there, undivided and with its capital Jerusalem, undivided as well!

There is little written about the Anti-Christ, from where he would come, what skin-colour he would have etc., but it’s enough written about what’s in his heart. Evil! This is what counts, the attitude of heart.
The Anti-Christ must come into a world, which already is anti-christian. And I bet, this is today a fact! Even churches are preaching that there’s no sin and that Jesus would not have resurrected etc. Paul writes in his letters that the spirit of the Anti-Christ is already lingering among the people at his time, and if then, how much more must it be in the today’s world?
If Obama would be the Antichrist or not, that’s not the question. The question would be: does he walk in the ways of the Lord or not? And this question you can answer only clearly, if you know about Obama, his life, his views etc.
However, if I had a look at him on his first appearances for the primary a strange thought came to my heart, that he could be him! And strange enough that so many different people all over are thinking the same….coincidence or just revelation by the most holy God, the God of Israel and His son Jesus? so to warn people? I don’t know, but we’ll know when time is progressing and we see what he’s doing and saying. I’m sure he’ll be elected as the new president of USA. The most important fact for a Christian is that he’s following the ways and teachings of Jesus the Messiah!

I can’t seem to ignore your inability to grasp the simple conjunction you+are= you’re.
    Anyway.
What if I’m wrong? You believe in the deity that you were indoctrinated to believe in from birth. One of many, but dominant in this and other parts in the world. Had you been born in ancient Greece you would believe in Apollo, Athena, etc with just as much conviction. Had you been in a small village in West Africa you would believe in the Orisha’s dominant there. Tens of thousands of Gods have been worshiped since man was lucid enough to be imaginative and curious. More importantly, those Gods were created by man to fill in the blanks of our knowledge and to alleviate the fear of the unknown. We still do this today. Since you seem to whole heartedly believe in a deity, you open yourself of to many problems, in particular the notion that gods are plausible. Since there are tens of thousands of gods to choose from, the odds that you are wrong are greatly increased while my odds remain reasonable. But to entertain your question even if for a moment, I’m not concerned about being wrong. I know that if there is (that’s a really big is) a God that is supposedlly
infinitely loving, wise and forgiving, I’ll be fine. I highly doubt that it will be the kind of prick that exists in your old testament. And don’t give me that Jesus stuff, if God is all knowing and wise, he would have never had same personality flaws that stupid, uneducated ancient men had. The reason he did have those flaws is because he was CREATED by stupid, sexist, uneducated, ancient men. So what if you’re wrong?

    Henro Reply:

Wow - I never thought of it that way. I guess you’re right Orlando. I mean, the nerve of God asking us to have a little faith. I think he has it all wrong. I like your way better - God comes down and waves his hand and destroys a few buildings and people, and then tells everyone that he is God - works a few miracles so idiots like you will believe, and then there would be no room left for doubt. Gee, that sounds like a good plan. Only one problem though - He wants people to believe in him without seeing him, so He could weed out the ones that love him because they believe in Him, from the idiots who subscribe to the “Seeing is believing” mentality. Some folks have it, and sadly, some folks it has to be proven to.

Think about what you’re saying, the long dead ancient men who created this superstitious belief structure knew the importance of providing fail-safes against reasonable arguments within the philosophy. One of which is the fact that “god” cannot and will not ever show himself. So what’s the response to such a claim. Well, as you put it, one must have faith. Well, how convenient. You know, I do not choose to have faith in your god for the same reason you don’t have faith in zues or athena or the juju at the top of the volcano. I just take it one god further than you. If there was actually a book authored by an omniscient, perfect creator of the universe, don’t you think it would be filled with a wisdom beyond our comprehension and not violence, sexism, rape, murder, and basically a count for count rendition of how god helped the Israelites freaking murder men women and children for centuries? Perfect? Real? Faith? I don’t think so. The bible and all other “holy” books are so obviously written by ancient a-holes, I will never understand why people believe any of it. It’s not even an accurate historical account much less a book authored by a perfect being.

If I’m right and you’re wrong then I’ve lived without fear and you haven’t. You’ve wasted precious time worrying about whether or not there’s an anti-christ and who it might be and whether or not you or anyone else will get into heaven. You’ve shunned science and the intelligentsia and clung to myth and legend. You’ve set up a scenario in which, if there is no anti-christ and no rapture, man will continue to turn upon man in the name of religion and our precious natural resources will dwindle to nothingness and the planet will become incapable of supporting us.

Haven’t you folks already screwed things up enough by supporting Bush and people like him who say God talks to them (and obviously tells them to kill a lot of people and make habitats unsustainable)? Haven’t we had enough of the raping of children, brought to you courtesy of the ‘men of God’ in the Catholic Church’? Haven’t we had enough of the Crusades, Inquisition, Hitler and Holy Wars? Maybe you should try leaving things to the educated, sensible people for a while and see what happens.

BTW…I do believe that Jesus lived and that he doled out some excellent advice. I wish you ‘believers’ would actually live by his preachings and make the world a better place, instead of continuing to judge people and commit crimes against humanity in the name of God. Do you really think you can do anything you want and still be forgiven your sins just because you believe that Jesus rose from the dead to sit by God and watch it all transpire (possibly snacking on a bowl of chips that have his likeness burnt into them)?

  50. Gail Says:

yes, there is going to be an anti-christ, and a christian is NOT scared of the coming of the anti-christ, or the rapture. a christian will not ever know who the anti-christ is, because my lord and savior JESUS christ will have raptured his children. in case any does not know the meaning of rapture, it means “caught up”. his children are gonna be caught up in the clouds with Jesus, on our way to heaven. i do hope and pray that all non-believers will wake up, and ask Jesus to come into your heart. that is the only way to heaven, otherwise you are going to spend all of eternity in a devil’s hell, which was prepared for satan, and his fallen angels. All christians are anxiously waiting for the rapture.

  51. Walrus or Eggman? Says:

Thanks for butting into my question to heids, Gail…a pushy Christian…what a surprise…, but since you did….so, if you’re all anxiously awaiting the rapture and it’s thought that Barack Obama is the anti-christ, who has to come to power before the rapture can occur, then why aren’t all of you voting for Obama to hasten the rapture? Isn’t it your Christian duty to vote for someone you think might hasten the second coming of Jesus and your little cloud trip?

And, by your own ‘logic’ and ‘facts’, if a Christian will not ever know who the anti-christ is, then either Barack Obama isn’t the anti-christ or Shery, truthbetold and the rest aren’t Christians. Correct?

Now about death…if you’re all going to go to heaven when you die, then why do you pray for a Christian to get well when they’re ill? Aren’t you praying to delay their trip to heaven? That seems kind of mean. And why to people always say that they prayed to God that, if they survived, they’d quit smoking or whatever? Aren’t you telling God that you believe in him, you just don’t want to spend time with him right now? Or are you just scared to die?

FYI - I do, indeed, know the meaning of the word ‘rapture’. I also know the meaning of ‘regurgitated doctrine’ and ‘empty rhetoric’. How about you?

WILL GET 666 IF WE USE SOME
    UNDERSTANDING!

    **SO HERE IS THE FORMULA:

    HIS FIRST NAME IS BARACK
    HIS MIDDLE NAME IS HUSSEIN
    HIS LAST NAME IS OBAMA

    BARACK HAS———- 6 LETTERS
    HUSSEIN HAS———-7 LETTERS
    OBAMA HAS———- 5 LETTERS

    NOW 6 PLUS 7 PLUS 5 EQUALS 18.

AND IF WE BREAK DOWN THE NUMBER
    18, WE WILL GET 6 PLUS 6 PLUS 6.

AND 666 IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST!

    2. ANOTHER REASON THAT I BELIEVE THAT
SEN. BARACK OBAMA IS THE ANTI-
CHRIST IS BECAUSE HE LIVES IN AND
    HAS WORKED IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
AND THE ZIP CODE IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
    IS 60606.
AND IF WE TAKE OUT THE TWO ZEROS IN THIS ZIP CODE WE WILL
    GET 666 AGAIN!
AND 666 IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST!

    3. THE THIRD REASON I BELIEVE THAT
SEN. BARACK OBAMA IS THE ANTI-CHRIST
    IS BECAUSE ONCE AGAIN HE
LIVES IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS AND THE
    FIRST THREE DIGITS OF PHONE
    NUMBERS THEIR ARE 666.
SO IF YOU DIAL 1 + AREA CODE (312)+
666 AND THEN THE LAST FOUR DIGITS
    OF SOME PHONE NUMBERS THERE,
YOU WILL REACH A PHONE NUMBER IN
THE SAME CITY AND STATE THAT
SEN. BARACK OBAMA LIVES IN! BECAUSE
    THE TELEPHONE NUMBERS THERE
    BEGIN WITH 666.
AND REMEMBER THAT 666 IS THE MARK
    OF THE BEAST!

    4. NOW THE FOURTH REASON THAT I
BELIEVE THAT SEN. BARACK OBAMA IS
    THE ANTI-CHRIST THAT THE BIBLE
TELLS US ABOUT IS BECAUSE HIS
    OFFICE OR CAMPAIGN PHONE NUMBER
FOR VOTERS TO CALL OR FOR PEOPLE
TO CALL WHO HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT
    VOTING IS: 1-866-675-2008.
THIS IS A TOLL-FREE NUMBER BUT
IT STILL HAS THE NUMBER 666 IN IT!
AND 666 IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST!

SO PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE OF THE
    MAN NAMED SEN. BARACK OBAMA!

DO NOT VOTE FOR HIM, DO NOT
WORSHIP HIM AND DO NOT TAKE HIS
MARK! BECAUSE HIS MARK IS 666!

    awesome.

Point 4 doesn’t really fly with me, though. Lots of areas have that exchange.

But as others have pointed out, isn’t the apocalypse a *good* thing for Christians? And isn’t it unavoidable anyway? Plus, couldn’t we be doing other things to avoid *signs* of the apocalypse, like killing all pale horses?

There isn’t one rational reason in that list to think that Obama is a bad person or the (lmao) anti-christ. Numerology is as stupid and meaningless as astrology and alchemy combined. This is incredibly ridiculous. We are in the midst of an intellectual emergency.

Oh my, guess what? My name also adds up to 666! Oh no! I must be EVIL! Hey maybe I’M the anti-christ!

I’m pretty sure Death would provide his own pale horse and would not need to scrounge for one among us mortals.

Orlando, you need to be able to recognize the distinction between sincerity and humor. There are ample examples of both in these comments.

On this thread I have seen some very absurd comments that weren’t anything if not sincere. Forgive me if I failed to tell the difference between humor and sincerity for a brief moment. This particular topic has a tendency to upset me because I honestly don’t believe that a nation that relies on primitive supernatural ideas is indefinitely sustainable.

As to the pale horses….be patient. The Bush administration is sneaky. First the prairie dogs, then the wolves, then the pale horses…

I believe Scott McClellan quotes Bush in his new book…”Ya kill yerself enuf anmuls an nobody notices the pale horsies. Heh heh heh heh heh heh. Gimme anuther fruit rolly thing, Scoot. They’re awesome!”

I often have doughts when I make super. I have doughts when I make launch and breckfust, too. I dought I can even spell breckfust, launch and super. What I don’t dought is that there’s an eidolon in my toaster that burns icons of the holy trinity (Hillary, Bill and Chelsea) in my baygulls.

    Hey, MISTER TRUTHFUL,
I’ve figured out this numerology thing.

Going by their placement in the alphabet…
    N=14
    I=9
    G=7
    G=7
    E=5
    R=18

    14+9+7+7+5+18=60 or 6

Say the word once, you’re a bigot. Say it 3 times, you’re the anti-christ!

It’s sort of like the “Beetlejuice” for right-wing, Christian wackos.

It’s not the gift of being smart that you lack. It’s the act being inquisitive or the act of applying yourself, or both. Unfortunately, you seem to accept whatever is easiest.

You didn’t excel with spelling and you didn’t think, “If I work at this, I could get better” or “Let me use a dictionary or a spelling checker.” You were told the Christian god was the true God and you said “Okay, I believe.”

The Christian church makes everything so easy. Whatever you do, whatever your
