McCain Goes for the Anti-Christ Crowd

He’s finally found a way to target all my Anti-Christ fearing friends:

Wow, not only are they using footage where Barack is making fun of the same kind of people who made this ad, but again they are misrepresenting what he said in the ’symbol’ comment. I’d laugh at them, but I’m drowning in the lies and desperation. If all this works then it’s the last nail in the coffin of stupidity Americans have displayed in the voting booth the last 8 years.

Check yo’sef before you wreck yo’sef!

  2. crazymonk Says:

That’s exactly what I thought when I saw this ad — he’s playing to the anti-Christers.

    [.]

  3. jbg. Says:

wait. that’s not real. it can’t be real. why would that be real?!

WHY WOULD ANYONE MAKE THAT AD ABOUT THEIR OPPONENT?!?!

    [.]

  4. jbg. Says:

whether or not it plays to anti-christ fears (it does, obv), it’s still A FULL AD THAT NEVER FEATURES JOHN MCCAIN.

if that’s a real ad, from his real campaign, he is definitely going to lose.

to paraphrase some of the pundits during the primary races when discussing hillary’s biggest problem:

    - obama’s campaign is all about obama. mccain’s campaign is ALSO all about obama.

  5. crazymonk Says:

It’s probably not a TV ad, if that’s what you mean. It’s just something they made up so that Drudge would post it and they’d get press.

    [.]

  6. jbg. Says:

but it doesn’t look *real* — especially the tag at the end: “paid for by john mccain?”

since *when*? why isn’t it “paid for by the committee to elect, etc etc” and no “i’m john mccain and i approve” bullshit? is that only for tv ads?

it just doesn’t feel real. and it’s such a stupid, stupid thing to do! again, not to pander to the scum of the earth (always a good policy), but to spend money on a 1-and-a-half-minute VIDEO OF THE OPPONENT.

  7. Troeltsch Says:

it’s on mccain’s website, so it’s most likely real.

  8. DoorFrame Says:

I had a similar reaction as jbg about McCain’s previous online ad:

If you take out the overlayed text and the audio track, it looks like an Obama ad. Giant crowds, shots of Obama looking good, smiling, waving to the crowd… it’s almost all positive imagery. Is it so hard to find one bad picture of Obama were here’s making a weird/demonic face?

  9. DoorFrame Says:

    One of these, maybe:

    Or this one:

But if the ads were really targeting the anti-Christ crowd, they should have used this one:

Seriously, it’s like they’re using Obama’s official press photos.

  10. jbg. Says:

it’s clear that they think using cliched b&w “ugly” photos and such will have backlash.

but then WHY USE HIS IMAGE AT ALL?! you’re forced to use *good looking* photos of a *good looking* guy!

    just dumb.

    [.]

    Walrus or Eggman? Reply:

Didn’t you hear? He’s not ‘good looking’. He’s a ‘beanpole’, or so say some of the people who won’t vote for him because he’s too skinny. At first I thought ‘beanpole’ was the new word for ’spearchucker’, then I realized it was just bitter, fat people they interviewed. If Al Qaeda really wanted to hit us hard, they’d train at MacDonalds instead of flight schools. Easier and quicker than learning to fly and they could get over 50% of the country hooked on opium fries.

  11. Lorelei Says:

Yeah, judging by what the media has been saying today, the McCain ad people seem to be secretly working for Obama.

  12. TIERNY Says:

I am one of the Anti-Christ fearing and more important God Fearing People. What is Obama going to do now with this Russian conflcit. Let him fall back on his 143 days of service to determine what path he would choose. Yeah, he should sit down with Putin and discuss it like old friends, right? We need experience and strong leadership for this country. Not a “Street Activist” to lead our country. When times get tough the tough get going. The weak go on VACATION!!! Just like the senate. Americans are not on vacation from the economy, why should they be? Mccain knows from PAST EXPERIENCE that we must confront this situation head on. Not be PASSIVE! We cannot afford passiveness. When the Democrats had passiveness in the past…..
Carter gave away the Panama Canal. That really worked for us too! There are many Christians and Anti-Christ Fearers, that know the bible and the prophecies. If you cannot see the events unfolding before your very eyes, you absolutely need to eat more carrots! Because you have to be BLINDnot to see the Russian incident as prewritten in Ezekiel 2500 years ago!

    [.]

  13. jbg. Says:

i am sooooooo glad that people like this don’t run our country and make actual, important decisions.

    oh.

    (shit.)

    [.]

  14. TIERNY Says:

Perhaps this is what happened to you? All your brains must have been sucked out by Obama!

For not only is Barack the most pro-abortion member of the Senate, with his straight A+ report card from the National Abortion Rights Action League and Planned Parenthood.

He supports the late-term procedure known as partial-birth abortion, where the baby’s skull is stabbed with scissors in the birth canal and the brains are sucked out to end its life swiftly and ease passage of the corpse into the pan.

Partial-birth abortion, said the late Sen. Pat Moynihan, “comes as close to infanticide as anything I have seen in our judiciary.”

Yet, when Congress was voting to ban this terrible form of death for a mature fetus, Michelle Obama was signing fundraising letters pledging that, if elected, Barack would be “tireless” in keeping legal this “legitimate medical procedure.”

    [.]

  15. jbg. Says:

we are not *nearly* close enough to infanticide for my tastes.
