I was reading an article by John Hodgman about being a celebrity (via Kottke) when I noticed this odd ad from GQ:


Tell me, what exactly do you think GQ is offering me as a free gift? And is the free gift meant to appeal to men, or women?

    I just got a crappy black mini duffel bag, I didn’t even realize who sent it until I found a tiny GQ tag on the side.

    This was not the messenger bag advertised as the “free gift” with subscription.

    I’m sending it back!
