Closing Tempelhof Airport

The Germans are closing Tempelhof Airport, home of the Berlin Airlift. Sad.

    And then they’re closing Tegel, which has an awesome hexagonal configuration and is super-easy to use. They’re beefing up their third airport, Schoenefeld, and renaming it BBI. So they’re going from three well-distributed airports to a single airport. This sounds like the opposite of what they should do. Silly Berlin.
