Illustrated Personals

Lustlab Ad of the Week provides a snazzy illustration of one personal ad each week.  Because the personals are coming from an alternative weekly paper, the illustrations tend towards the risque.  Potentially NSFW.

Joss Whedon Comics

It’s on MySpace, which sucks, but Joss Whedon co-wrote a comic.  Who knew?   Part one, part two, part three.

1942 Comics – Smilin’ Jack

This concludes the series of five comic strips from the December 8th, 1942 edition of the St. Louis Star-Times I purchased at Pearl Harbor. As a group, the comics were difficult to understand and not at all funny. I hope you enjoyed them.

1942 Comics – Smitty

This is the first of five comic strips from a December 8th, 1942 newspaper I recently purchased at Pearl Harbor. As a group, the comics are difficult to understand and not at all funny. Enjoy our first comic, Smitty:

Calvin Prays for You

I saw this car a few days ago on the streets of Los Angeles:

Calvin Prays

It’s a little bit blurry, but it’s Calvin (of Calvin and Hobbes) praying to a shadowed cross. Here’s a slightly different version to give you an idea of what it looks like close up.

Someone should make a sticker of Hobbes worshipping the devil at some sort of a naked midnight coven.
