Lore Sjoberg Video: Twitter
Lore Sjoberg has departed from his spate of ratings-based videos and has done rehashing his most recent Wired column:
I strongly preferred the ratings-based videos, but this one was worthwhile for the drawings of Internet-type people (and Jeanne Tripplehorn, sortof):

Lore Sjoberg Ratings: Optical Illusions
Lore’s changed backgrounds and put on a tie, but he still delivers humor-filled ratings fun:
Lore Sjoberg’s Second Ratings Video
Lore Sjoberg has posted his second Alt Text video featuring superheroines and one Dr. Klaus von der Murder. Hooray.
On his blog he was also kind enough to list his influences: Washington Washington, Crusader Rabbit, Odd Todd, Spamusement and Creatures in my Head. If you were an aspiring comic looking to make nearly animated shorts, this could be like some beginning research or something.
In case you missed it, here’s the first video.
Lore Sjoberg Demands a Fauxlogism
He doesn’t know it, but Lore Sjoberg is demanding a fauxlogism:
There should be a term for words and phrases you can’t say around a geek or you’ll get the same stock joke from them every time.
Now if only I could think of one, Lore would finally want to be my friend. Some pun/portmanteau on cliche, maybe?
Lore Sjoberg Videos
I’ve long been a fan of Lore Sjoberg and tonight I can celebrate because he’s announced that he will be publishing a series of short videos for Wired beginning with a quasi-review of Link’s weapons. Behold:
Spoiler Revelation Schedule
Lore Sjoberg presents a system indicating when it is, and is not, acceptable to reveal a spoiler in a feature film. Using his rules, since Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released as a film on November 21st, 2008, I can reveal that Snape kills Dumbledore fourteen weeks after that on February 27th, 2009.
I’m marking that down in my calendar.
Joss Whedon Comics
It’s on MySpace, which sucks, but Joss Whedon co-wrote a comic. Who knew? Part one, part two, part three.

Brunching Shuttlecocks: The Bjork Song
“Bjork, Bjork were you brought by the stork?” begins the Bjork Song, the most memorable thing ever produced by the long defunct Brunching Shuttlecocks. Here’s the song in its entirety:
“Or were you created from butter or cork?”
Brunching Shuttlecocks: 88 Lines About 42 Presidents
Lore Sjoberg’s Brunching Shuttlecocks produced 88 Lines About 42 Presidents using the Nails’ 88 Lines About 44 Women as a model. It came out pretty good:
Lore should wait another year and write up four new lines about the two most recent presidents to make the whole thing line up even better.
Brunching Shuttlecocks: Don’t Make The Smug Guy’s Head Explode
I don’t really know if this game is winnable, but it’s nice to try. Just do what you can to avoid making the smug guy’s head explode.
This is the second thing I’ve swiped from Brunching Shuttlecocks, which I miss dearly.
Brunching Shuttlecocks: Your Roommate Sings The Indigo Girls
Since I’ve been celebrating canceled television shows a lot as of late, I want to move into the field of long defunct comedy webpages. My old favorite, Brunching Shuttlecocks, has been dead for a long time (Lore, it’s primary author, moved on to write funny stuff for Wired).
Anyway, in my first installment of ripping off Lore’s old site, here’s a little piece called Your Roommate Sings the Indigo Girls:
